Established in the fall of 2010, we initially provided embroidery and digitizing services focused on quick turn around and meeting the customers' needs. By a Thread expanded services to include computerized longarm quilting in 2011. Our pricing structure is affordable and includes one-on-one consultation to ensure the customer receives 100% satisfaction.
By a Thread, LLC is family-owned and operated in a smoke-free environment by a passionate quilter in Westland, MI. Since opening in 2010, we’ve treated every client like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch. Hi, I am Kim Heath. In 2009, I earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, but sadly found myself unemployed from a career of 18+ years. I decided to make the best of my situation by learning a new skill - quilting. I was hooked before I even finished my first quilt. The quality and care given to my customers' projects is driven by my obssession to always do the best I can - every project, every time.
